This is the character sheet for Cinder Ravencroft, Aaron's mother.

This is Cinder, Aaron's mother. She loves mystery shows, cooking, and watching baking competitions. She works at a party planning company based in Trottingham, helping bring order to her boss' chaos. She may have a stricter side and can be a bit stubborn and ignorant at times, but she's caring and warm-hearted. She wants the best for her son, Aaron, despite showing that in the wrong way.

The youngest of three children, Cinder was born after Equestria fell, but before the dragons went into slumber. As such, she was mostly raised by her Mother (Aaron's grandmother) around the Fillydelphia area, along side her older brother Scorch. Growing up, she was told stories about her Dad (Aaron's grandfather) and his impact on both dragon and pony kind. One of these being about House Fox, particularly about her Dad's friendship with Gallant Fox. As such, when she was old enough, she went off to Trottingham to find House Fox hoping to find answers regarding Gallant, and possibly why everything her Dad helped to build fell so easily. Fortunately, she was able to meet the head of House Fox at the time, Lucina Fox, and became close to her and Lucina's son, Scarlet.

However, the biggest surprise came in the coastal town of Flameborough, where Cinder would end up crossing paths with Corvin Ravencroft, a unicorn living in the Flameborough Lighthouse. After an eventful night, to the surprise of both of them, the two ended up having a child together, a dracony they named Aaron. Cinder chose to stay in Flameborough to help raise her son, and would later find work at a party planning company owned by old friends of her father. With her Dad and older sister, Amber, still hibernating in the dragonlands, and her mother busy with her own business with the dragons in Fillydelphia, the only member of her family who was aware of and around to help raise Aaron was her brother Scorch.

Sadly, Corvin died of an illness seven years later, and Cinder would end up working harder to help provide for Aaron. While Aaron was able to move on through music, Cinder mostly used her job to help deal with Corvin's death, which unfortunately led to her becoming more distant from her son. This would become worse when Cinder unknowingly started believing a corrupt principal at Aaron's highschool, who started using him as a scapegoat and allowed to be bullied. After one incident leading to Aaron having a bounty placed on him by an evil syndicate, Cinder sends Aaron to stay with his Uncle Scorch and tasks Scarlet Fox with looking after him. It was only after doing so that the principal's corruption was brought to light, and what she thought would be cleaning up another of her son's messes turned out to be a proof of his innocence. This made Cinder start to realize how distant she became from Aaron, and how the assumptions she made about her son might've hurt her relationship with him.


After some events that transpired in Equestria, and Aaron straight up calling out how badly she acted towards him through song, Cinder is fortunately able to reconcile with Aaron and start rebuilding her relationship with her son. She tries her best to support her son and his dreams of becoming a singer and starting a band. She realizes that this is probably what Corvin would've wanted for her and Aaron, and strives to be closer to her son as a result. Cinder cares about Aaron, she just sometimes goes about showing it in the wrong way.



Context:

Cinder is around her 40s-50s, or at least the equivalent of that in dragon. She's Aaron's mother, and was married to Corvin until his death.

I try to keep the identity of her parents, and Aaron's grandparents a secret, but you might notice some resemblance in her design and from hint in her story.
