This is the character sheet for Sayuri Akiyama, the protagonist of my fanmade Danganronpa game. Danganronpa V4: Ashes of Hope.

Talent: Ultimate Reporter



Since she was child, Sayuri was always curious and always digging deeper into any story. Her mother was a prominent investigative journalist for a successful News company, but mysteriously disappeared while investigating a lead on an unknown organization. Following in her mother's footsteps, Sayuri would grow into a young reporter, searching for any scoop and going above and beyond to get the full story on current events. This would lead to her becoming a lead reporter for her school's newspaper, with her columns always gaining much attention from her fellow students. So when an overseas branch of Hopes Peak Academy was announced to be opening in the United States, she immediately saw her next big story. This immediately caught the attention of Hopes Peak, who were surprised to see such a young girl among the floods of journalists and news reporters trying to gain further insights on this new overseas branch. Sayuri was even able to schedule an interview with a supposed insider from Hopes Peak. After said interview, Sayuri was shocked to learn that this insider was none other than a talent scout for Hopes Peak, who offered her a spot among the Ultimate Class 79B, and a chance to not just visit the new overseas branch, but attend the new school as an Ultimate Student. Immediately accepting the offer, Sayuri Akiyama was flown overseas to the US, and attended the overseas branch as the Ultimate Reporter.

However, Sayuri, along the rest of Class 79B, would find herself trapped in the oversea branch, and are soon introduced to none other then Monokuma, who came with a way to leave, kill a classmate and get away with it. Now forced into a all new killing game, Sayuri must figure out the mystery of this new campus of Hopes Peak and unmask the new mastermind, or die trying.

Sayuri is able to develop a close friendship with two other students, Minoru Shinohara (The Ultimate Game Designer) and Scarlet Valentine (The Ultimate Thespian). The trio are able to piece together much of what transpired at the overseas branch, and came really close to uncovering the mastermind's true identity. Unfortunately, Sayuri is killed by the mastermind and becomes the victim of the games sixth and final class trial. Leaving Minoru to unmask the mastermind and end the killing game.

Story Importance:
Sayuri is the protagonist for most of the game until the sixth chapter.
She's the murder victim of the sixth chapter, with Minoru taking over the protagonist.
