This is one my two favorite love songs.
It's the sadder one of the two, but it really is a wonderful song.
It also fits the relationship of my oldest and longest lasting ship to date.

Watchwell and Korina have criminal pasts that they were running from, but hard work and devotion turned them into a family of sorts. The reason they remain so distant is because of old demons that keep chasing. Heck, the day their cubs were born, they ended up separated. Korina was rushed to the hospital in a shot up taxi while Watch stayed behind to shoot the gangsters behind it. After that fight Watch had to leave the city and pray Korina and their cubs were okay.
Whenever I hear this song, it makes me think of these two. While so far apart, despite all that has happened, they still think about eachother and try to reach for one another. It may be sad, but still heart warming. Bittersweet and heartwrenching, but still astounding.
