One of the fondest childhood memories I have is when my family and I travelled to the Magdalen Islands our own quebec archipelago. This place was fantastic, for his sea food, it's glass blowing, it's salt refineries and it's kite. The magdalen islands has the perfect wind to use kites from all kind so I wanted a to make a design that compiled those memories together.

I love how scallops "fly" in the water, and seashells are often linked to dragons which eels kinda looks like them. And in quebec we fish a lot of them so, yeah, that is one complex fakemon right there xD

Skylops use their mantle to catch the winds and reach the highest part of the sky to avoid predators. They are beloved by many of the locals for their colorful palette and their cheerful personality. If treatened, it will retreat in it's shell which is adorned by fake eyes spots.

Despite it's sheer size, dragnieel is surprisingly light as it use it's internal organs to store a large amount of air. It use it's tendrils to secure itself to buildings they claim as their home which the protect through out their life.
