What kind of plastic is this? Is it an epoxy resin, a clear urethane? and do you know what shore hardness it is?

Yep, nice and hard! Very durable and extremely light because it's slush cast.

This is REALLY impressive! Can the plastic be painted with basic acrylics and sealed?

It could, but if you did that you wouldn't be able to see the glowies! And it could possibly get scraped off over time

I made a mold and slush cast the plastic into it, then wired up a LED kit for it. Prices can be found on my website
