Alright, everybody, I guess it's time that I get off my lazy rear and get to work on the Latios model! To be honest, this was going really slowly until today. This morning, I had nothing but a basic shape consisting of a sphere with a cylinder sticking out of it. I also had the feet, at least. Anyway, I just added the head, ears, and fixed up the wing "nacelles" (I like to call 'em).
I still have some more work to do cleaning up this model. This is the body only, as you can see. The wings, arms, paws, etc. are all going to be separate pieces, just like on my Latias model. As far as this body goes, I still need to tweak the feet and ears a little, and do a couple other small things, and the body should be ready for mapping!
The arms and wings usually take half an hour or so to complete, and that's taking my time! I'm really happy with the way this is turning out. You see, my Latias model was the first real model I've made. Therefore, it was kind of like one big tutorial, and I learned a lot of stuff on it! (I also tried to throw my computer out the window about a dozen times!) Now, I can apply all of that to this model, and that should hopefully speed things up a little!
Also, note that the model will look a lot better when I smooth it! But, it still needs tweaking until then.
So, other than the obvious things I need to tweak, how does it look to you all? I used a Latios figure to do all of the proportions. Those should be pretty good!
