Story: Recently, Scales finds himself having a similar dream every night. In it, he's on train going through unknown locations. The other passengers seem off, often being shadowy apparitions or walking stuffed animals and toys. However, one figure aboard the train seems to remember him, a train conductor. This mysterious fox finds Scales roaming the halls every night, and she constantly has to take him to the seat near the entrance as the little dragon never seems to have a ticket. Scales doesn't know why he's having this dream every night, and no one seems to notice either. What is this mysterious train, and why does fox remember him?




Some Context: I made this piece for a project in my Video Art class. We had to pick a prompt and do a performance based off it. The prompt I chose involved making a painting (or in this case drawing) in which the color comes out under a certain light at a certain time of day. I drew a majority of it in the dark, and made sure certain components were hidden until the lights were turned on. If you want to see the video that this was a part of, I linked it above.
