Since  Jaleo's Frison has become engaged to Red Shetland, Things must come face to face and Karl finally meets up with Frison. Karl's known Red as long, if not longer than Frison. But also is away for longer periods of time due to his job duties. But Karl, always the gentleman, understands and realizes the situation and accepts whats happened. He understands that there can be no third wheel in the relationship. But wishes the best for Red and Frison.

Its likely that Karl can still remain friends with Red and now Frison.
