A monster of a piece I've been working on for uh.....a very long time!

It started as perspective practice and then it rapidly spiraled out of my control and into...this thing. This BEAST. I hand painted all those fucking leaves on the foreground plants, because they just didn't look right with the base brushes I used to get them in there.

I'm most proud of the fire escapes, out of everything in this piece. I dunno. Just...I made them look good. And I'm happy with them.

Backgrounds have always been hard for me, so this was me really pushing myself and I think I learned a lot from it. Enough tto apply it to other works, going forward.
