Me too. My sister and I had to share the TV (only had one TV in the 80's.) So I had to watch My Little Pony. It grew on me. People mock the G1 ponies these days, but they were actually pretty bad ass. I mean for an 80's cartoon, it got pretty dark at times and they took on some pretty serious villains.

I was not a fan of G4 when it first came out. I thought the G4 ponies looked like some kind of alien mutants :p

I see. Same here too. I was only little in the 80s too. So i cant remember i watched the cartoon much, but i collected the toys. = ) I lived in USA when i was 6 to 7 years old with my parents and older brother.
So thats how i knew them then. I dont think i would had heard of it in Norway in the 80s?? =) SO i guess i was one of Norways first MLP fans. xD

And yes i agree, the newer mlp look like aliens, lol...
