Plus it's cold, so it takes longer to dry and heating the workshop with a 2kW electric heater for 24/7 until it dries is not exactly ideal.
I could have just rubbed it with oil and it would have been done.

It was quite an entertaining project, until the laquering and waiting.
So now I just have to wait for it to dry properly. I moved it to my room to keep it warm. I don't have to worry too much about volatile substances in the paint because I ventilate regularly, so there won't be any holes in my brain. :)
