rookblocks are dreamers enemies with a cartoonish centipede-like appearance. they are found in checker field as path-blockin' enemies and are the dreamification/imitation of the rook chess piece. they typically use attacks like spitting mud balls or tryin' to suck up the soul like a vacuum cleaner. after defeatin' rockwell, they become NPCs in checker woods. In the beginnin' and epilogue of chapter 2, rookblocks are among the guardians in funky town castle. in the anomalous route, they attempt to withstand the player's attacks but fail, vanishin' into dust like all the other dreamers killed. in the post-anomalous route of chapter 2, they are buried in the old graveyard alongside the other slain enemies. they are dreamers with a yellow centipede-like form, cartoonish eyes, medium-sized antennae, and a square body. almost their entire body is yellow, except for their mouths. With pink legs and tail, they often talk 'bout food, makin' food-related puns in their dialogues. they have two stronger counterparts called clay centipede in the ancient world of chapter 4 and fire centipede in the holy world of chapter 5. their stats are 180 HP, 6 attack, and 0 defence.
