Not if it's a retail job you're not gonna make any money.. But at least you're in Canada I think? It may be different there. In America gas and food alone cost so much most retail and fast food jobs cost more to keep than they pay you..so a ton of people are in food or medical welfare. But lately they are taking that away to pay for more war and to give to the rich. So cost of clothes deodorant gas food ect. Plus about 1/3 of everything you make gets stolen in taxes for the state. And then stolen again for the federal taxes to pay for more war. And then if you own a car it's costs 105 to 800 dollars a year more to get your car stickers because they need to pay for all the illegals after they bankrupted the healthcare system. Soon there will also be a per mile extra tax on top of that to pay for the same roads the the insane gas tax should of paid for but they spent on trying to talk children into hacking off their nuts and also that fake bullet train that's taken years and billions in waste yet not one mile of track was laid. So the right and the left political parties are screwing the poor over. What it's going to mean for you is long hours of being on your feet and being paid nothing at the end of the day for it. And of course your bosses will be experts at cheating you out of your pay and finding ways to get you to work off the clock like hay could you do this and this and this before you go kinda thing.. But all this you will see in good time.. then every year they dump millions more foreign poor people to keep wages down. The point of that is your pay will never go up because the value of your labor will always be low because they keep a flow of people that aren't even supposed to be there around to keep you replaceable. There will be 32 people begging to have your job. You see that in the form of every mistake will be kept in a list and used against you to constantly threaten you. Ok you get 2 more mistakes and you're fired- kinda thing. They probably won't fire you but it's just used to keep you obedient and not asking for more money. Also not giving you a raise because your "performance" was blah blah blah. And you'll find out that you'll be micro managed all day with tons of tiny rules to follow and of course keep on your feet to make sure you're in constant pain and unable to sit. This keeps you distracted and tired you stay obedient and don't run off. Then there's gonna be dealing with Karen's and criminals all day that will actively try to get you fired or just treat you like garbage. Should I go on??? But no. You'll start out with a honeymoon period when stuff seems ok. But this is a well practice abuse system and eventually the masks will fall off. And youll realize it's just wage slavery. The only ones getting rich are the owners. Then you'll understand why I hate both political parties so much. Why I'm so passionate about 3d printing and selling my creations to make cash. Why I hate the rat race and why I value staying mobile and having other employment options.
