Pleased to share this wonderful new cervine character created by RaMoorph!
Relatively recently, I came across a few deer adopts that were created by RaMoorph (and Aki_Niko, who did the design). The adopt pack that was available is located here. While all three that were available were tempting, the one labelled "Dreamcatcher" caught my eye. It was probably the nice natural color palette and wonderful design that piqued my interest. Despite having the winning bid, behind the scenes I did an AB to have a reference created for him. Once upon a time, I did have another cervine character and was meaning to get back to one - I like antlers and hooves. The previous cervine character was rather dark, and this bad boy was a breath of fresh air.
The label of "Dreamcatcher" had my wheels turning, and I'm going to keep that label label for him. Named Wysperin (sounds like whispering, without the 'g'), he often goes by Wysp. Wysp posses considerable physical prowess - he is incredibly strong, well beyond what might be expected with his musculature. His greatest physical strength comes from his powerful legs, which are more heavily muscled than the rest of his body. A kick from one of those hooved legs can easily kill on impact. Fortunately, while an elusive one he is typically friendly, if not a bit mischievous. Some call him the Dreamcatcher, and it's an apt name as it describes his magical ability. Within a limited radius around him, he can catch and enter the dreams of anyone asleep. Although he does sometimes just watch dreams unfold, he's not simply a dream voyeur... his specialty is taking control of the dream, and manipulating it to his desires. This is where his mischievous side often comes out; you just never know what direction those dreams will take. Wysp has helped others, through dreams, to remember what were thought to be lost memories... or to relive joyous moments. He's also used dreams to get an unwilling participant to reveal secrets. Then there was the time he killed someone with a dream - but let's not go there. Just stay on his good side.
