Another duo I’ve made related to one of my new hyperfixations, but now featuring Fergy Fudgehog and Paulie Pretztail from Viva Pinata! Or just an ordinary Fudgehog and Pretztail, whichever you prefer. Yeah, I’ve finally got the time to watch a few episodes of the Viva Pinata cartoon, and I gotta say, it’s probably my favorite show 4Kids has ever produced based off of a video game! And I mean, yeah, they’re known for… not having the best quality stuff, mainly their dubs and also their voice cast being reused in the Video Brinquedo English dubs (just a random fact I know of), but I do think the Viva Pinata cartoon series will still be my favorite from them, especially since it’s their only cartoon I know of that was done in CGi.

And yeah, Fergy and Paulie are definitely some of my favorite characters from the cartoon, so I sorta had the urge to draw them in my art style. Fergy is my favorite since he’s usually anxious, but funny, and Paulie is also my favorite too, since I really like fox characters. I was honestly surprised I was able to draw Paulie really well, considering how complex the pattern sorta was with the blocky stripes. The background is the usual pattern I’ve been doing with my artwork, but the shaded triangles made the background look even better! It really makes it look like the characters are popping out.

Heck, this is also the 2nd Rareware duo I’ve drawn, considering I’ve drawn Banjo and Kazooie back in 2024! And like with Banjo and Kazooie, expect there to be more fanart of Fergy and Paulie this year. Whenever I’m up to make more fanart of them, that is. Oh, and I forgot to mention, I have yet to play the original Xbox 360 game as well as it’s Party Animals spin-off too.
