That's a very wide rail bridge.

It's like a two-track rail bridge, with a single track, in the center, and a half-track-wide platform built on either side.

Well yes, it's kind of hard to run alongside the train on a correct bridge that only has platforms for fire barrels.

It is unusual, but it is possible to have a wider-than-usual bridge that is both used by trains and automobiles/wagons (or a pedestrian bridge). (Those would not have been enjoyable bridges for railroad engineers or railroad lawyers, because of safety problems.)

I understand that it is possible to build a bridge like that, but if it were to be a dual-purpose bridge (or even a double-wide bridge with a single track) the tracks would be to one side , leaving a full width platform for vehicular traffic. That would also allow for the vehicle platform to be pulled out and replaced with a second track later, if required.
