Jawsworn knights can be seen on the former battlefield grounds scavenging for valuables from corpses, after which they burn them.
People don't attack them as their presence makes sure there won't be any rogue undead wandering about near those places.

Their grotesque armor is made of mimic flesh, and can grow stronger by forging teeth into it, it offers great mobility along with decent protection.
Skillful knights can use flexibility of the armor to break opponents weapons with the teeth. Other than that armor has no special properties and is not alive.
The mimic tongue is hollowed out and is used either as a bag or filled with more protective materials to defend its user from behind.

Most of the jawsworn knights just sell or use anything of value that they found. There are some however that try to find relatives of deceased to give them their last mementos.
