So For those that don't know, my Fursona, Much like myself goes nonverbal from time to time and uses ASL (American Sign Language, Hand Speak) Much like myself. I was nonverbal the first 5 years of my life, I am also Hard of Hearing. I go nonverbal when I am overwhelmed or overstimulated, this is partly due to my Autism. I still use ASL to this day, And find it to be something that makes it easier for me to communicate when I am not verbal and can not talk. :/ Unfortunately, not everyone is Taught ASL. So I have been working on some ASL Stickers for a telegram ASL pack in the mean time to help with communicating and help with teaching ASL a little bit so that there is a bridge in communication between, verbal, nonverbal, hearing, hard of hearing and deaf persons. I will try my best to convey things as well as I can. But also be aware that Facial expression when signing can convey a different tone to what you are saying, such as upset, angry, stressed, happy, sad, annoyed, etc. Also sometimes yes, people will mouth the letters or words with the signs, but not every person does, not every person who is hard of hearing or deaf can Lip read. Lip reading can be hard for a lot of people. So Hopefully... this helps a bit. Thanks for taking time to read this.
