Taumin are hybrids of Taums with umin, an alien species originating from a planet called Namu. Like Taums, they are created—but their composition includes an umin egg and some kor, the crystal that sustains an umin's life. Some are created by the original Taum, while some seem to have been created by other Taums or other forces.
