Path to enlightment
1-Won Shik was a good dragon, a protector and blesser of humanity, middle aged in dragon terms, as he had lived for centuries among humans.
One day he was offered a sickly girl and some other items by a peasant family as an offering, they didn't have enough resources to feed and cure their girl and so they abandoned her to her fate.
Minji, the girl, was around 8 years old, when her parents were leaving, they saw the dragon breathing smoke upon her and something they interpreted as fire, so surely, he just killed her, it was for the best.
2- But she did not die, rather than that she regained health, as that dragon did not use true fire to kill her but rather a magical sort of fire to heal her. He took care of her the best he could, bringing food he hunted himself and vegetables from the people's offerings and soon she was strong.
The dragon noted she was quite sad because her parents, her village, abandoned her but the dragon said he was going to make it all better.
3-Not knowing how to make her happy he tried first to give her what humans, especially women, crave. Riches, a good life, prosperity. He asked merchants that came to give him offerings to bring silk, objects made of gold, and toys befitting a princess, he thought this would make her very happy.
4-At first, she was content and happy, but later on the dragon had to give her greater offerings to please her. It was like she was turning her into what he saw the evil dragons would do.
5-But then a boy named Sung Min came to talk to the little captive princess; he noticed her loneliness and became fast friends.
Sung Min became the solace she needed in a world that took all the joy from her. He was poor and she was quite rich, she offered gifts to make him like her more but he was a simple kind of kid, only playing and talking and listening to her.
6-One day while the dragon slept she decided to follow the boy from afar and saw the village that abandoned her, this brough back painful memories. She wanted to be loved back, to be accepted by her parents and family and to be loved by Sung Min. She didn't quite despise Won Shik yet she lacked true company, something he couldn't give or took for granted.
7-Not knowing what to do to help her poor village, she gave them all of her possessions to aid them in their financial struggles and gave part of the offerings of the dragon to her family and to Sung Min, but instead of being grateful the townspeople grew wary. What would their protector, the dragon, think of this?
8-As any parent of an adopted child, he was worried sick for her, he wanted to have half the love she felt for her village or to receive the same smiles and shining eyes that boy got from her but the dragon felt she was more like himself that she would ever imagine, she was a misfit. She would never belong to human society no matter how hard she tried.
So he indulged her, giving her riches so she could share them with her village, in hope that his little pup would one day understand where true affection lies.
9-Since the village noted Won Shik was being condescending and truly cared for her, they treated her like some sort of good luck amulet and a fortune bringer, even the boy that once played with her as equals now treated her with reverence that only her dragon protector would get.
Won Shik prediction because her curse, she was a misfit, all because of the dragon. And she hated him for taking the simple life she craved away from her...
10-Her heart was divided between true affection for him and the life she fantasized she should have, and whatever she endured soft tribulations because of him she blamed him on her heart, not being brave enough to blame him out loud. As much as she did love him, she also feared him.
This captivity went on until she was old enough to travel on her own.
11-She told the dragon that she wanted independence and to seek true purpose, rather than stopping her he have her his blessing.
He also have her a boon, she ate from His flesh and drank from his blood. A token of goodwill from Won Shik, even as she did not know why he did it.
12-As she wandered alone She realized that other cities, towns and villages far away from Won Shik suffered many disgraces.
Actually, disgrace was more of the norm than the exception, in a sense, the dragon she met was a good fortune dragon and she understood how spoiled she was the years she spent with him.
In a sense, he was protecting her from true strife from a harsh world, only asking for a tiny bit of consideration as big as a grain of rice that perhaps he never got for from Her...not out of malice, but immaturity.
13-She kept on searching the world for the happiness she always fantasized to have while her body became that of a young lady that could already marry. She became wise and noble, needing little to survive and to thrive.
She was curious of a little detail thou, what did eating from a dragon meant?.
One day, a horrible, sorrowful day, She found out.
She entered the realm of an evil dragon.
14-She saw destruction far and wide. No human settlement or nature was left alone to thrive.
The evil dragon smelled Won Shik in her.
He captured Minji and knew immediately that she ate from his flesh and blood.
He explained truthfully that Won Shik, his nemesis, marked her as his own. The flesh would grant her immortality and stop her aging after she matured physically, the blood was a mark to tell other dragons he was her protector. She was shocked by this new development to say the least
15-The evil dragon was no gentleman, he used dark magic to change her into an adult evil dragon, knowing he was not strong enough to defeat Won Shik and that he would reject her once he saw what she became…
As her body was painfully expanding against her Will, tearing Her clothing and confidence to shreds,
Won Shik felt her pain and flew as fast as she could to save her.
Visuals: The woman glows like if engulfed in dark flames, She crouches in all fours while her body expands. With careful visuals It would be a Sfw tag. Also Won Shik arrives to save Her.

17-While she was changing into an evil dragon her mind was polluted With thoughts of murder, of bringing plague and strife to others. Won Shik could feel her pain and was fully aware of even her mental changes
As the darkness was consuming her Won Shik gave her a handful of advices that would help her with The change and offer her peace:
Visuals: two panels of her human face changing, She Is developing a snake tongue, dragon teeth and eyes. The other panels show Her mind imagining herself as an evil dragon killing people and committing evil actions.

The transformation into an evil dragon took a different turn, She was now changing into a good dragon.

22-The dragoness loved Won Shik more than ever as a friend and mentor, not as a mate. She would need to mature and grow older, a century or so, to consider that option.
She inherited the scorched lands of the evil dragon as her lair. Her new realm was a copy of the struggles of her new heart, she could become benevolent with her new people as her mentor has been or she could delight in harm, her choice.
23-Won Shik left her, hoping It would not be a goodbye but a see you later with a good advice.
"Your soul will change every day with your path to enlightenment or darkness, whatever you do, whatever you feel, and the way you care or hate others will keep on changing you."
And so her true path to enlightenment and self-control began, a road only she could travel.
