I had this sequence idea pop into mind a bit ago and thought it would be perfect for a birthday piece (he’s in his birthday suit because I dunno how to draw clothes yet). I started before my birthday (Nov 21), but trips, art block, and life got in the way. Despite that, it ended up being a nice way to incorporate some stuff I learned more about like depth, shadows, expressions, shapes, and posing. I also experimented with new brushes and a cool texture overlay I found. Me likey. I think the second pose is a bit stiffer than what I was going for, but we stay learning. Always open to critiques!
Also, he’s still inflating. Will he explode? Dunno! I’ll leave it up to you (YEAH, YOU! THE READER!) to decide what happens. He’ll always reform – no fatal stuff here.
