Here's a copper soldering bit that I had forged from a larger vintage one I bought on Ebay. It had plenty of material to squeeze out 3-4 soldering bits and I actually needed a few more than the 3 I have.
The diversity of shapes helps when soldering together complex shapes that have tight corners or are in different sizes. The bit here is bent so it can help me reach into tight spots when soldering.
There are 2 other copper bits I need to finish by making stems for them, but this one I wanted to make first because of how aesthetically appealing it is, the way the split piece of iron holds the copper bit is very nice and I am pleased with my attempt at copying that design from a book I have.
