Similar to when shooting 135 in a 126 camera, shooting 135 in a 120 camera exposes the sprocket holes for 135 alongside films data barcodes. This photo was taken with a Holga 120 camera using Fuji 200 color print film in the early evening sometime March of 2018. I used the 12 exposure, square format with the Holga for this picture, resulting in a photo with a panoramic aspect ratio. I used the latitude of the color print film to handle the less than ideal exposures and limited controls of the Holga camera. The Holga 120 camera is a very basic 120 camera with a plastic lens. It is best known for being a "toy" camera; however the limitations of the camera, quirks of its plastic lens, and light leaks make it a very interesting camera to shoot with. The effects are unique and to me seem to create a dreamlike atmosphere in many photos with this camera. The effects are especially prominent in more colorful scenes with bright lights. I had found a custom lens created that uses the same elements and focusing of the Holga 120 camera, but with a Nikon lens mount so it could be used on my Nikon D7200.
The truck in the photo was my old 2002 F150 V6 I drove through college. It was a great price on a used pickup truck and it held up well with heavy city driving. The truck served me well for five years, and ultimately gave out at 195k miles shortly after moving to South Dakota; I bought it with 119k miles. It was a good truck for those years with the only amenities being air conditioning and a tape deck. The giant standing plush wolf that I based my fursona's design off on did indeed ride with me across the passenger seats during my move out to South Dakota, I think I have uploaded a few pictures of him riding alongside me in different trucks that I've owned.
