A while ago, I adopted this fun adopt from Lightalbane (art by Kazecat from 2014 and colored by Loko back in 2024). And pondered the idea to use this gila monster gator as a hero: Vita-plex/Arlo brown.

A superhero with the power's superior muscular strength growth/recovery powers, reinforce mass and bone strength from his friend within him inspired by Luke's Gummy. All by his friend Jannis "Jenny" inside him providing said nutrient powers within his Arlo's Gila gut. A nutritionist and food scientist as developing a special "universal vitamin". That supplies all nutrients in one tablet, only for thieves looking to steal it as taking her for a hostage. Only for Arlo to step in and help fend off the attackers. Only for Arlo to keep her safe by devouring Jenny whole. While size in his stomach, she took the universal vitamin to get out, only for Arlo to absorb a majority of it as granting his power, while keeping Jannis alive from being digested, but can still hear him as his gut. Leading to Arlo brown to become the first vitamin powered Gila monster hero: Vita-Plex

With Janis seeing it as an opportunity as being a test subject, while Arlo as Vita_Plex doing the cool hero stuff. While the Jenny inside him teaches him to use the powers well as being a mentor. Sure, she can be a nag and stubborn in going the right thing but can have fun once the time calls for it.

Arlo was originally named "Hila the Gila", but was change as a reference to the "Cluemaster" from batman 2004 as thinking of "what if Cluemaster was a hero and having a vorcious twist?" Leading to the name change.

BiO/personality:

How Arlo met Jenny was in a competitive game show "Brain Buffet". A heath game show as such the contestants to solve health and various food questions. Where Arlo was an intellectually gifted reptile as earning awards, winnings with even commercial success. With an ego and sense of confidence Narcissism as thinking he's better than others by his knowledge. Winning for 13 weeks in an undefeatable and obnoxious bragging it to Jenny 90%. Until he lost a vitamin b12 question to her. Even if he had a lifetime supply of veggie bars as a consolation prize (reasons why he looks a bit big now), Arlo had a major metal melt down he had after losing on live TV. Leading Arlo's father to put a foot down saying he lost, and sometimes losing is more important than winnings. Even so far as enforcing that statement by taking half of Arlos veggie winnings to Jenny. Which led her to be a health food scientist after wanting to make the bars better after as to be a world class food chemist while Arlo worked as a Janitor. As the Gila gator still a bit of envy but didn't want to see her suffer and even congratulated with contributions to society. With Jenny congratulating his success past winnings he got older. Being humbler and more wanted to help out to share knowledge even if working as a janitor.

Feeling Jenny and him are both have intelligence in their own way. And wanted to share that somehow. That is after Arlo saving her life from thieves trying to take her hostage for her "universal vitamin" as giving powers. Thus, Arlo Reject his ego to save Jannis life by eating and keeping her safe in his gut as "safety and playful revenge". While in the gut, the scientist rather than dying, took the special vitamin that not only protected her from digestion, but it gives Arlo powers via the vitamins radiating from her . Thus, Jenny offered and thanks as helping to control his ego as the Hero: Vita-plex (named by Arlo himself as Jenny gone along with it). Acting like a mentor to him as a friend to the massive Gila monster. Talking to a Jenny in the gut, the meat is on!
