Ruins of Another Country
A year ago, I began writing a FF9 fic called "Cremains", which focuses on the aftermath of the Mist Wars that plagued the Mist Continent. That means I get to explore the POV of side characters musing about the destruction of their homelands, and Learie, a minor character from the game, gets to live, though her husbands and kids have perished during the siege of Cleyra.
