its taken me a while to figure out what i wanted maverick to do bcuz originally my thought process leaned to some sort of indiana jones-esque bounty hunter kind of guy, but i wasn't really interested in that for a variety of reasons, so i tossed around a bunch of other ideas for what he could do where he could Kind Of be like that but also not at all. a steve irwin type was what i ended up settling on and my (southern) boyfriend suggested he be from florida, which i liked and kept (he recommends everyone be southern- i think he's onto something)

anyway maverick gets to be added to my collection of weird biologists. i imagine he has a good tv personality but we'll keep working on it. og concept was just a white shepsky- he's still considered a white shepsky but i did want to give him just a little more with the design because pure white/black ocs are not interesting enough to me
