I didn't lose my appendix

On the 24th of last month, something horrible happened. I had severe abdominal pain that incapacitated me for an entire day. I went to the doctor in pain, and he diagnosed me with appendicitis using a tablet and an app. I was hospitalized for almost two days and had three more ultrasounds. The ultrasound machine wasn't working properly, so they said I didn't have appendicitis but an inguinal hernia. Even then, I was in pain and on an IV drip.
In the end, they said, based on a blood test, that the blood in his urine indicated that a kidney stone had come loose and caused the acute pain.
They sent me home, and I lay there doing nothing for a whole week. Yesterday I had to get another ultrasound, and it came back clear and healthy. Phew. But it was horrible and distressing because they kept telling me, based on the first ultrasound scan and the tablet, that they were going to operate on me immediately.
In the end I had four ultrasounds done and lost $120. Besides, diet food isn't cheap.
So guys, if you're going to get an ultrasound and the doctor, instead of pulling out that giant wired contraption, pulls out a tablet with a Bluetooth box, refuse the ultrasound immediately. Also, if instead of using that device with a light, you take out your phone's flashlight and hold it to your mouth, that's one of the most polluting things on the planet.

oof close call, I had an Appendectomy when I was 11, before it happened, I was in severe abdominal pain, my parents didn't know what to do so I went through it for about a week until they called a hospital and had two EMT's come into my room and carry me to the hospital. My appendix burst during the surgery but thankfully the surgeons had it removed in time and I had to spend a week recovering in the hospital.

The giant appendix is kinda weird if you think about it too much, but so oddly adorable!
