Once a year, sea turtles come by the hundreds to lay their eggs on the shores of Windsonde. Gryphons consider these hidden eggs a rare and delicious treat! At this annual time of plenty, all the aeries come together to feast and relax on the shores of the sea.
Answer:
Daine was having a great time at the Turtle Festival-eating eggs, collecting sea shells and whatever else on the beach she could lay her claws on that would make good jewelry. During this search she ran into her friend, a fellow owl gryph named Reva. After showing a few of her new treasures, Daine was distracted by some of the larger gryphs skimming along the waves on turtle shells. Curious and amused, she talked Reva into joining her to try it out. Let's just say that neither won the most graceful award....
