Marcy has always been pretty vocal and adamant about hating water, open water like seas and oceans in particular, and even more vocal about how annoying sand is - always so coarse, so rough and irritating, and always getting everywhere. She always hated how difficult it is to get all of it out before getting back home. Some beaches might have showers, and that's of course helpful, but if she was able to successfully avoid the ocean water only to still get wet and need to dry out before getting into the car anyway, then what's really the point? She sighed to her own thoughts and rolled over onto her stomach. Lying here, on the towel on the beach, Marcy vividly remembered all these thoughts, these protests, all her hate towards water and sand. The sun didn't make the beach experience any easier either, scorching her dark, black fur and making her far too warm to be at all comfortable. She raised her eyes briefly at the umbrella above her, quietly praying to whoever would listen thankful for such a marvelous invention. It truly was the only good thing she had going for her right now.
Well... not the only good thing. Her eyes moved across the horrific hellscape that was the beach and settled on the fox running around, laughing, and playing with the others. She smiled to herself a little, more out of an instinct than a conscious thought, as she'd often do when looking at her. Yes, there were other good things in life aside from the umbrella. Better things, even. Seeing her out there with her friends and just taking in her enjoyment of this escapade made everything a little more bearable. The sand all around her was still annoying and the sun was still pounding from the sky above, but... maybe it was all worth it in the end. That happy smile and excited tail she saw across the vastness of sand was quickly outweighing all the negatives of the situation. And besides, seeing her half naked, even if the swimsuit covered all the best parts, always made Marcy giddy, so she might as well just enjoy the show. She grinned to herself staring at the fox's tail and butt moving around, already thinking about all the fun they'll have later. Just a little more exercise to end the day...
The fox must've felt Marcy's stare boring into her backside, because she turned around and looked back at her before waving with a wide smile. She knew full well that getting Marcy out here was already a win and accepted that she won't be able to make her come any closer to the water surging back and forth clearly hoping to devour her. Something inside her grew warm at the sight of that familiar smile, a different kind from all the external heat on her fur and towel. It was a good warmth, the kind that makes you cozy and comfortable, the kind that makes you feel... happy. For a second they simply stared into each other's eyes across the beach, both amazed at the other's entire existence, and it was moments like this when Marcy could truly say she was lost to the rest of the world around her. This eye contact as always felt too short and too long at the same time, but she finally smiled happily and waved back at her. The fox made one of those funny faces Marcy always enjoyed, and turned back to her friends again, and all the worries and issues Marcy had began to melt away, leaving her with just the warm feeling of... being loved for who she is. She truly was her angel, and in the end she was glad to be here.

Quick note, I know I've been gone for a long time, it's been a wild ride, though thankfully extremely different from... that other wild ride some time ago. I have sooooo many still unpublished commissions and will definitely be writing and posting again until it's all out there. I will likely not commission any new pieces though because this is already a very large folder anyway hahah. Still, happy 2026 and I should have another post out soon! <3

Hi!! I wanted to get back to it for a... long time now, but time and motivation and all the other stuff just made it difficult to actually sit down to write. But it actually feels really good to get this one out there so I'm hoping to get like one piece a week from now on until I'm all out of art hahah
And then we'll see... hahah
And then we'll see... hahah
I apparently have 71 posted submissions so far and there's... 135 pictures in my folder so I definitely can't complain about lack of art. Just need to actually write. And I have ideas! Just... need time and motivation hahah
And if by the time I'm done I have more ideas and motivation maaaaaaaybe I'll commission more? But definitely not doing any commissions now
I glanced at your profile earlier and saw you posted quite a bit too, so I'll definitely be checking that out soon too. Maybe it'll help me with my motivation ;3

You have almost as many unposted pictures as I do. I've been in a similar funk.
Speaking of, don't take many of the OnlyFurs content too seriously. It's partly tongue-in-cheek and partly a slow-motion tragedy wrapped up in cheap smut.
But if it inspires you, then I'm happy to help!
By the way, it's nice to see you back. ^^
