Raime has two consciousnesses, Rune and Rai. When alone, both consciousnesses tend to be active at once, sometimes blending together. It was something they never questioned as normal; it was only after multiple encounters with others who have psychic and telepathic abilities that their dual consciousness was identified.

Much of their time is spent wandering the universes, seeking out Guluriums and helping them find places to belong. They are polite towards others, though this sometimes comes across as overly formal or with an intimidating amount of gravitas. The mythological reputation of Cosmic Guluriums tends not to help with making a personable impression.

With close friends, they are confident and expressive, and the differences of Rune and Rai become more prominent. Rune tends to be softer, more thoughtful, and gentle. They enjoy affection in casual and soft touches, both giving and receiving. Rai tends to be more outgoing, tenacious, and fierce. When seeing a friend they haven't encountered in a while, they might squeeze the friend into a crushing hug.
