This is a redraw from 2024 of the picture that first sparked my Project ACE AU! This scene takes place at the very beginning of the story, about six months after the prologue (which is still a bit of a work in progress).
I didn't edit too much of this doodle overall as I still really liked the background, and wasn't interested in redrawing all of it from scratch. Instead, I rerendered it, and added some extra effects to make it look a lil’ better. I almost completely redrew Bolt from scratch, though, since the shape of his face (most notably his eyes and eyebrows) have changed since the first time I drew him for this AU.
