Jak 3 is my favorite "It doesn't matter now" type of storytelling.
(Dialogue is inspired by this: https://youtu.be/iOVbAmknKUk)
As much as I love the J&D Franchise and I think Jak 3 is a good game overall, I can't help but feel dissapointed by it cause I just personally can't enjoy the story with it's maaaaany flaws.
This scene right here is one of those "???" moments of where did Jak get this information? He never knew about the Dark Makers until this game and suddenly he knows about their history with the Metal Heads? Who told him that? And when? Or was he just trying to mess with Cyber Errol?
It doesn't matter now, cause at least it is fun for me to complain/nitpick about the whole game's story with friends and also say how much Cyber Errol is the worst end boss ever, but I'm gonna stop it right here cause otherwise I could go on complaining forever : )
If you agree or disagree about this opinion, hope you can still enjoy this silly comic!

If you're going to say "city council and Veger", several months of the war going really bad changed things enough for Veger to be demoted by Ashelin, whereas at first his position was popular and strong. Mostly tell don't show, but the explanation is in the game, it's just easy to miss.
But if you're going to say "ottsel plot twist bad", I will be getting my bias cannon, and climb a hill, because I will die on thee hill of "ottsel plot twist good".

The council thing is still badly shown, and I get sometimes you need to create new things in sequels that weren't there in the previous entries but wish we had kown where they come from and how they were powerful before Ashelin could take over in the war. (Also its still funny putting the cutscenes side by side)
The Ottsel twist I have mixed feelings, in one hand its obvious this wasn't the original idea for the precursors (I think in each game it was suppose to be something different), on the other I think its funny and creates an interesting new twist for godly figures lmao so I don't mind it.
Some issues is the Wasteland overall being barely used, Jak saying to Ashelin he doesn't care about the city anymore but like in one/two missions goes back there because he was told to and he doesn't object to it at all. Jak ping poings between the Wasteland and Haven and has zero consequences for him, Damas doesnt even seem to know Jak is gone fighting a war? I think he should have some opinions on that at least.
Though personally my biggest issue is just Cyber Errol being the big final bad guy, I don't care he came back as a big cyborg dude he is still a lame villain to me and its just bonkers that he ends up bossing around the KG Death Bots, Metal Heads AND the Dark Makers.
You could say the Dark Makers just *let* him have this power and were just using him to do their plan, but at the end of the day we only fight Cyber Errol in one of their Terraformers and we don't go against the actual entity(s) behind the Dark Makers.

Trust me, I would LOVE a definitive edition of Jak 3, with a few extra cutscenes, more dialog, and maybe 10 more missions (and better weapon/ammo balancing). But Sony would have to re-hire original key developers, and nobody at Sony loves videogames enough to organize such a project.
I recommend checking out OpenGOAL if you haven't already, Jak 3 is still unavailable but you can play the other two games with a better quality and some extra features.
Also the community can easily make/add mods through it so theres already some pretty good fan made levels for the first game.

damn never realize that scene but hey jak going be jak XD just taunt Errol!, maybe cause jak/daxter brakes 4th wall.
i mean they did look at screen one point game... so jak and daxter might have knowledge outside game lore.
