Thinking of getting the Ceph redone if I can find a descent specbio artist. I have some ideas about their culture that are absent from this picture. Example: Their language is based on color-changing and gestures. This translates to a written language that features both elaborate paintings and symbols. Their vessel are very colorful as the paint jobs are basically akin to a name in their language. Imagine a door painted a specific way to indicate what a room is supposed to be.

How about a bit of biotech? They could use living displays, basically just skin tissue, that utilize chromatophores for color changes (just how octopy and squids work as well) and have those chromatophores in place of regular pixels. Also they may utilizes bioluminescence for the screen glow. The upside is, that they wouldn't have to deal with electricity underwater. :)

As artist I would recommend  Ramul , he is pretty good when it comes to speculative fiction. :)
