I'm always humbled when someone names my work as an inspiration source. I can highly encourage anyone to start learning blender - even with a lower tier GPU.
If render power is a concern, I highly advise instead of throwing money at the problem for a new GPU to rather look into Eevee as a render engine. Eevee nowadays looks so damn impressive and I know that other extremely popular artists like Ruaidri are using Eevee exclusively for faster render times.

I honestly don't know much about the difference in rending options, but when I switch to viewport shading (material preview) my fans get loud and my computer takes a minute to ponder what I'm doing before responding. On switching to viewport shader (render preview) the lag prevents me from successfully interacting with anything as Blender freezes :'(
Luckily, I can still somehow run games so visually complicated as Rain World and Sea of Stars lol but I'm a ways away from being able to mess with my own 3D. I am working more on my own 2D, trying to perfect soft physics with bones sprites etc. Blender is still fun in small doses for learning to sculpt etc, but actually creating an entire scene will have to wait.

How painful would it be to be swallowed alive from being grabbed to its throat. Pulling you down to the stomach. Squeezing you and being exposed to the gastric fluids. how long would I survive.
