You know, with how fondly old Windows systems are looked in Frutiger Aero you'd think Nanami Madobe would be the queen of the aesthetic but no, she's mostly forgotten these days. Rover too, while predating Aero isn't discussed at all. The only people of that era still remembered are Bonzi Buddy and Clippy (both for completely unrelated reasons).

I made this image as a tribute to them and start as, with their models done, I can start using them more. I am hoping I can bring these characters out of obscurity. (though I've said that with practically every person I've modeled lol)

Anyways, I've spent the past 2 months working on a new base rig to use for my characters (among other things). 800 bones, 10 drivers and a whole UI later I finished it! And to celebrate it this half-serves as a reveal for the first character I've rigged with it, Nanami Madobe! Not my model but I have remastered it to be even better than the original.

While working on the rig I also felt I should do Rover, another forgotten Windows character. Clippy is also there (though hardly forgotten these days).

I will have Nanami and Rover appear in The Ludgren Files. Already know what they're going to do. Expect more soon!
