This is Jarl! One of my Voidlets. He seems to have something to say! We just wish we could understand what he was saying.
Now, what is a voidlet? A voidlet is a small, kitten shaped creature that just kind of appears randomly when nobody's looking. They have many of the same abilities of the actual Void Kitty, but weaker. They're fragments of it. A mix between paranormal "residue" and offspring. They act independently but are still part of the same phenomenon.
Most of them tend to demanifest after anywhere from a few hours, to weeks. You leave them for a minute, and look away. And they're gone when you look back.
However, some of them last longer, much, much longer. Those are the Main Voidlets, like Jarl!
Jarl appeared somewhere between 700AD and 900AD. And was named after the viking lord which found him.
He's always loved industry and heavy siege engines. But around the time of the industrial revolution he wound up in the British Empire. Where he began to take an interest in trains, and heavier forms of industry like mining.
Around 1910 he got his bowtie by steal- acquiring it from a baron of industry. After said baron's death, since they didn't have any children, the title fell on Jarl. Making him The Baron Jarl. He was later also given the title "The Right Honorable."
Making his actual full title "The Right Honorable Baron Jarl Voidington"
Nobody calls him that, Except his artistically inclined sister "Ullarmi." (one of the other voidlets)
The rumor goes that Ullarmi actually arranged for his title, since she thought it would "Fit him"
While he's never been interested in politics. He has considerable influence in the mining, steel, and railway industries. Which he uses almost exclusively to play with the big machines. He refuses to touch the car industry though, as he sees cars as an inferior transport method to trains.
Were it up to him. Cities would have rails, not roads.
He has very strong opinions on cars. Trucks are however a complicated topic for him. He has conflicting feelings.
Currently he resides in the british countryside within the Voidington Family Mansion, which he technically owns, despite the ACTUAL Void Kitty being the master of the house.
