Here, have some mood whiplash.
This explains my art output for the past year. I don't think I need to elaborate any further as to why.
Again, I usually avoid political topics for peacekeeping purposes...but it's impossible to avoid lately.
Honestly, it's frustrating and disappointing cuz words have never been my primary focus (as noted, I've vowed to never write another comic again, and will only work with coauthors). When I want to relate to someone, I can create a quick doodle to let them know how I feel. And as a cartoonist raised on 80s/90s animation, I have always favored comedy.
But my mood has been so all over the place lately, it's hard to be funny. So I've cut back on correspondence with a lot of people, just cuz I don't know what to say. Dunno how many of you noticed, so I just wanted to apologize and explain exactly where I've been at.
Here's hoping things improve soon, dammit.
Some notes:
Four kinds of cake in the first panel. XD
The top-right panel was an actual attempt to help
TKDye vent after he compared his boss to a Bugs Bunny villain.
And the rope in the final panel is honestly in random order based on whatever I could fit.

*huuuuuug* I don't blame you at all, things have been so terrible.
The only thing I can think to say on the matter is... you know the saying how all good things come to an end? Well, bad things come to an end too. That's how life is, a cycle of good times and bad times. The pandemic came and went, after all.
So yeah, here's hoping we get an upturn very soon. *hug*
