YEEEESSS, I'm SO glad you like your Newsies! I did so many sketches of him trying to find a style that fit (which is why there's two- I ended up liking the profile so much that I inked it and forgot the horns. pff) and...damn, it's just great to know you like what I did with him!
India inks, watercolors, colored pencils, and a white gel pen toward the end. I started with sepia/light brown lines and used darker browns over it, then did most of the color with watercolor, did detailwork and some gradients with the pencil, and final details with the pen. c:
