I've not drawn anything in a few months so last night I scribbled this up to get some estimation of how my art skills have been affected by the hiatus and what I'll need to work on the most in any forthcoming pictures.
Yosh-E: I'm a bit happier with his beak, but the proportions are still messed up as are his legs. I'll have to work much harder on my birdy-lizard things.
Kaffre: I'm a bit embarrassed that he came out best, but I suppose I do have the most experience drawing him...
Zee-Zee: Right arm is off and I think he looks a tad too lean, but I'm very please with the 3-D effect of his tail!
Gem: Never drew her before, but think she looks too foxish in my style...
MJ: Looks much older than I wanted (legs too long), but otherwise good.
Poco: He turned out quite nicely, I think.
Marco: I've never actually drawn Marco before either so here he's standing in as a generic canine. I think he came out pretty good considering how tiny I drew him!
Phloppy: I'm generally happy with his face and proportions came out, but the legs need work. Also, I think bunnies look cuter when drawn with oversized footypaws!
Tacki: His muzzle looke pretty good this time, I think, but I don't think I've quite got his hair/mane right yet.
All characters depicted belong to their respective owners.

Wee! Fun lil doodles! I've kinda been feeling the need to draw some random babyfur art myself lately. I also think you did well on my muzzle. I like how consistent your style is with the multiple cubs in the pic as well. I think MJ looks a little older cuz you drew him in a bigger scale compared to the rest. His proportions still look rather cubby. Or maybe it's a slightly older but still toddler version of him. =P
Thanks, I've been working really hard on getting my non-kitties to look less feline.
Well MJ's size is part of the problem, but the proportions are off too - I usually try to make my cubs 2-1/2 heads tall, but MJ and some of the others are 3 heads or taller. Still child-like I suppose, but not the way I usually draw them...

Hoo and Ray! *quack quack* Is good to see some Kaffre arts again.
It is always interesting how much you criticize yourself in your remarks. Truly, I think you did pretty good with everyone. As I like to say it myself, "Every artist has a style and its fun to see how each renders each character." THe Kaffre O'Ducky is cute and fun and I wouldn't have him any other way. :)
However, back to the point, you are getting better with your drawing. I just hope you don't overthink how well things are coming out while you're doing them as, truly, you get better through each completed piccie you draw where you just let the arts happen. Sure there ar "Big Mistakes" you have to erase or start over with. However, most can be turned into "Happy Mistakes" by discovering a new pose you never thought you'd do, or adding a prop you never thought of until the "happy" mistake happened.
Again, glad to see you drawing again, Kaffre. May you continue to doodle and have lots of funs as you do!

Thanks YoshE, I've been at this long enough to realize that my mistakes aren't quite as noticeable to the viewers as they are to me.
Still, recognizing one's shortcomings is the first step toward fixing them and I think this doodle exercise has yielded some useful hints regarding the sort of stuff I'll have to work on if I wish to improve.
I'm glad to hear that you liked my Yosh-E though! *hugs*

*Hugs the kitty* But of course! Though, truly, you don't need to worry about letting us know where you believe you've made a mistake. We are our own worst critics and, perhaps, by not trying to call out an error beforehand it may be helpful to just to have fun and post and see what folks say while keeping those little boo-boos you notice to yourself as future reference?
The above I say is that I know what it's like to see something and go on about, "What could've been better" and it can be kind of a bummer and, as one who reads your remarks, I always worry there's a part of you that is unhappy when, in truth, you should be very happy with your arts and talents. Just have fun and never stop trying new things to find that "right mix" for you. It's what will always set you apart from everyone else around in the art world is being you and just finding what you like while not calling so much attention to matters that might, in truth, actually be a fun feature of the Kaffre style. :)
