The Rocketeer. One of my favorite movies from the 90s, and incredibly underrated. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I68627xyDPA

I... Actually.. yeah. I can. Easily in fact. Much easier than my plan to buy a pack on eBay for 8 bucks. And I'd get to shape it exactly how I want as well. It lacks some of the charm of wood so it wouldn't be my ideal but ideals are hell and not to mention expensive for a practical joke. Yeah I actually might.. ya know sometimes I forget I can an do crap thats not drones trains or RC cars. It's weird and kinda reminds me how when you have a movie on dvd you never watch it. But if you don't have it you kinda obsess over getting it.
Oh just getting my car repaired while using a rental plus its the middle of semesters where I work so negotiating payment vs hours and fees. oh and orders are due as well. So plenty of chaos but then again what else is new. Heh. Got a lot of risk to mange as there is a big swapmeet coming up so balancing bills with the need to buy additional stock and raw materials to have enough to justify a booth.
I see. My parents are having their own car issues. The check from the insurance of the person who hit their car a while back still hasn't come in the mail. And instead yesterday they got a letter from insurance just telling them how long they have to make a claim. It feels like they're delaying to avoid the payout. But for a 99 Toyota Camry, that's like what, two grand at best? You'd think insurance wouldn't fight that.
See I contacted mine every day and asked them for an explanation of every single delay and for time tables as well and ETAs on all waiting periods AND I demanded a rental be provided while my car was being repaired. Plus I told them directly I was keeping written records of everything and would be sending out additional written questions and statements for the purpose of later possible litigation. Meaning I was preparing a list of itemized damages for an attorney to line up a legal kill shot later. So any delays and costs of delays were being formally sent to them and kept by me as proof of damages later. The longer the wait. The more compensation I would ask for. Aka I was keeping receipts.
Oh, I love that part. It was a good enemy of my enemy situation. Fun fact, some mafias helped the US government against the Nazis in WWII. It was a time for an uneasy truce. That said, my favorite part of the movie is when Cliff saves Malcolm from the clown plane. And when that plane crashes on the fuel truck, the look on the airfield owner's face was priceless as he had to keep saying it was all part of the show.
Every time I think of the Rocketeer I get reminded by this one Family Guy clip: https://youtu.be/Vn6iT8IbsTk?t=52
Which is a shame because I really like the Rocketeer... XD

I was five years old when The Rocketeer came out. And I've loved that movie ever since. It was my grandpa's favorite movie for a while too. He kept wanting me to bring my DVD of it over every two weeks. It didn't stop till I found a VHS copy of it at a thrift store and gave it to him.
