Gros, once a respected High Shaman of his people, was a venerated figure to the Othmir race on Velious. A longtime friend to Gilan's father, Gros was always close in Gilan's early life before departing to the village settled far away in Cobalt Scar in an attempt to reclaim the ancestral home of the Othmir people. Years went by, and there was no word from Gros, and with Gilan now the High Priest, he feels he needs Gros more than ever to help guide him in his new position. Although, there would be no help, as the dreaded lich Nyshla Darkbone corrupted and tainted the village and all of its inhabitants years prior, raising them all as undead thralls- Gros included. Gilan now must overcome his hardest challenge yet- to put down his corrupted mentor and friend, and to give him proper peace at last from Nyshla's torment.
