He drew the New Mutants when they visited Asgard, and Warlock was with them. But I think you might have realized they were Marvel characters because Storm was with them, and Loki was around, too.
Warlock was originally designed by Bill Sienkiewicz, and his style was the best for Warlock. You could easily imagince him being made of a multitude of living cables and circuitry that were ever-changing. Everyone else's Warlock is more solid, unchanging, when compared to the original.
