The first piece I consider to be part of the incomplete Road to Knowhere Project, a road-trip action-adventure-fantasy story. All tags featuring Heath the bat (with a few rare exceptions) will be placed into the Road to Knowhere folder from here on out.

I recall this being one of the first images where I stopped imagining Heath as this singular bat character and started to come up with a story, one of which I shall tell someday. Heath (left) and his best friend Slim (right) got into some nasty magic fight in a bus ride and resorted to traveling to their destination by foot, hoping to hitchhike. They traveled on and on on the mythical American highways with no one willing to pick them up. When all hope is lost, someone finally stops to pick up these two adventurers. Little did they know that this friendly truck driver would become their next member in their party!

Random fun fact: This scene was meant to take place somewhere in Alabama. I was not aware that Alabama was not arid and dry at the time, so this image is completely inaccurate.
