"Crap, crap, crap!" said Sadie, quickly shutting her dorm room door.
"What, what, what?" asked Alyson. "And won't we be late, late, late to the movie if we don't get going? You promised you'd go with me!"
"Aly, I'd love to go with you to the Old Boring Movie Club's boring screening-"
"Not what the club is called and you know it," muttered Alyson.
"But Grace's weird... creature? Friend? Thing! is out in the hallway holding a knife and staring off at nothing again!"
Alyson opened the door a crack to peek out and then quickly shut it. "Oh, she's ominous..."
"She's creepy!"
Alyson really wanted to go to the Classic Film Appreciation Society Free Pizza and Popcorn If You Promise To Stay For the Whole Movie screening night. She liked pizza and popcorn and felt that she could appreciate old movies while eating free food. "Okay. But has she ever actually stabbed anyone? Maybe that's just a... comfort knife?"
"She bites people and biting is like stabbing with tiny calcium knives! I'm not going to take my chances!" Sadie flopped down on her bed. "Ugh, why did Grace have to go to the nerd shop for nerd night-"
"Tabletop gaming night," said Alyson.
"If Grace were here, I'd at least have nerd boobs to comfort me... Or we could just throw Grace at the creep and run!"
"Huh," said Alyson, thinking. "That gives me an idea!"
Sadie sprang up and lifted her hands in a karate pose. "You may be taller, Aly, but I'll throw hands if you try to throw me out there!"
Alyson gasped, offended. "I would never throw you under the bus!"
"Right, because then you'd have to go to the Old Boring Movie Club thing alone," said Sadie, reassured.
"Because I don't do stuff like that!" Alyson rummaged around in her backpack and pulled out a package of cookies. "But throwing stuff made me think of this!"
Sadie raised an eyebrow. "You were bringing cookies to an event with free food?"
"In case I wanted something sweet," Alyson shrugged.
She opened the door and threw the package of cookies with all her might!
The package lightly plapped off Lynn's face and fell to the floor. Surprised, the creature looked down and saw the cookies. With zero curiosity or concern, she dropped the knife and tore the package open.
"RUUUUUN!" yelled Alyson. Unnecessarily. She didn't wait for Sadie to get the idea. She just grabbed her mouse friend by the arm and ran out of the room. Ran towards free pizza!
Lynn had no idea what was going on. Not in general and not tonight specifically. But cookies had mysteriously appeared and turned her night wonderful.

This was a wing-it type from Jyinxx. Since the ref of Lynn has her eating chips, Jyinxx gave her some cookies to eat, too.
When it came time to post this picture, I wasn't sure what kind of story to do for it. It's just a happy Lynn having a snack. I very well could just have a story where Lynn finds a bag of cookies and enjoys them.
Then I thought of someone throwing cookies at her as a distraction.
The circumstances really don't matter to Lynn, though. She got the cookies.
