Solar, Bush, Berry, I went to the South towards the Darkscar’s den. Team C went North towards a river. I wished Team B good luck for defending the den. This will decide the fate of the Lightbringers, and possibly the forest.
None of the Omicrons or Deltas attacked us on sight. Instead they moved out of our way. And there was no sign of the Betas either. “Why is no one attacking us?” Solar asked, confused.

“It is better to fight with your tongue, not your claws.” I answered. “… I see.” Solar said.
“Before we enter, I need to tell Ivy.” I said as we got near the den. And I deviated from the rest of the group. I could see Ivy in the distance. I walked to her. “Its been a long time, hasn’t it?” I said. “Hello. Is it time?” Ivy replied. “Yes.” I answered. “OK. I will hide somewhere in the throne room and jump out when you give the signal” She said.

“OK.” I replied. And we winked to each other. As I walked away, Anubis appeared in front of my eyes!
“Why hello there Omni! While I would love to chat with you some more, I have no time for it. So your journey ends here!” He said with the same evil glint in his eye have gave in my dream.

He suddenly jumped towards me. He was so fast, I couldn’t even react to it. He then leaped again, and he was lightning fast. This… wasn’t even a battle. I got banged up pretty bad, and he stopped. “Hehehe… I think I’ll let you live. But don’t be so weak in our next encounter… if there even is one.” Anubis said playfully before disappearing. Well what the heck was that for!?
I went back to the group. They must have seen the scratches all over me, because Solar asked “What happened?” “Cat… named… Anubis…” I answered, about to pass out. Solar then got close to me. “SDNUOW SIH ESARE!” He chanted. Suddenly, I felt a lot better. The scratches from my fight with Anubis had vanished. Solar must have used healing magic!

“Thank you!” I said in gratitude. “Your welcome!” Solar said. Now let’s see how well the other teams are doing. “SEYE S’ITLUM MORF EES EM TEL!” I chanted. I saw things from Multi’s point of view. There were no wolves attacking the den, but I could see Anubis out the corner of his eye. Before he could turn though, Anubis already vanished.

Anubis scares me. He could be anywhere now. But there is no time to worry about him. “SEYE S’SUXEN MORF EES TEL” I chanted. I was now seeing from Nexus’ point of view. I could see the stone. Luna was guarding it. This was not good. I could see Star growling. “WON SEYE YM MORF EES I” I chanted. I now saw from my own point of view.
“Team C found the stone, but Luna is there.” I reported to Solar. “Star and Luna have quite a negative history together. Now is the time to settle it. This is their business.” Solar responded seriously.

I, along with the rest of Team A, went into the den. Before long, we had reached the throne room. Fog and Bog were waiting for us.
“Stop right there! You shall not go any further!” Fog said. “This is where your journey ENDS.” Bog said in a very sinister voice. “I don’t think there’s a way we’re gonna talk THEM out of this…” Solar said.

“So be it. Get ready!” I said, readying myself.
“Wait. Fog, leave. I can handle them,” Bog said. “And why should I leave?” Fog said in a questioning voice. “Because you can’t even handle one of them. You will only get in my way. So GO!!!” Bog said. “Fine,” Fog said, giving Bog a dirty look. He then left the room. “Glory stealer,” Fog muttered under his breath. Bog then leaped toward us.
It was claws and fangs after that. I could also see Ivy hiding behind the throne out the corner of my eye. She is good at hiding. Anyway, back to the fight.

Bog really IS good at fighting. Within no time, we were all pretty banged up, and Solar couldn’t keep up when it came to healing us. Bog was using a Hit-And-Run strategy that FOXES specialize in.
Eventually, Lunar came in to the room.

“Bog. Out. NOW.” Lunar said, halting the battle. “Yes, Father.” Bog said obediently as she left. Solar healed us all. “So, why have you come here?” Lunar asked impatiently. “Remember when I told you about the traitor? That was a lie!” I said. “I suspected as much” Lunar responded.
“…Really?” Lunar said, shocked. Ivy then jumped out from behind the throne and slashed Lunar in the face. “OUCH! Ahhh… clever…” Lunar said, half surprised.

“Please, just surrender. We don’t want this war to drag on any longer.” I pleaded. “THEN WHY DON’T YOU JUST GIVE UP?” Lunar replied. “Why are you even doing all this? Absorbing other packs?” I asked. “…Its for power, outsider!” Lunar said, “You are trespassing. And you will pay… WITH YOUR LIFE!” Lunar readied himself.

For whatever reason I think I wanted Chapter the final battle to be distinct from the Part 1/2/3 thing so I made Chapter 17 super short just so I could still have it be a Part 1/2/3 thing just so it could the numbers 16 and 17 could be linked together and because I wanted a three-parter? I don't know, my brain was super weird back then (and it still is).
