Monster Monday is back after a long hiatus, baby, and this roster will feature the Giant Robot Kaiju of the 1975 tv series, Super Robot Red Baron.

Troy Horse was the first Mecha of the Iron Alliance and the first to face Super Robot Red Baron in the series, making its appearance in # Conspiracy of the Robot Empire. Troy Horse would be one of three Giant Robots created by the Iron Alliance during its war against Red Baron and SSI, as most were stolen from the World Expo to make up the total of their Giant Robot Army before the coming of the real villains behind the shadows with its own batch of Giant Robots.

Troy Horse was sent into the World Robot Expo and helps steal the Robots in the venue, plus kidnapped Dr. Kenichiro Kurenai, while his brother and the other members of the SSI faced the foot soldiers.

After the success of the first mission, Dr. Kenichiro was turned into a slave like some of the kidnapped scientist of the stolen robots by Dr. Deviler, it was then sent to retrieve Red Baron itself, but despite the control, Dr. Kurenai gave it to his brother Ken and the two Mechas battled instead, not far the other members of SSI and Inspector Kumano faced the Foot Soldiers. During the battle, Red Baron fend off the Mecha with Baron Punch and Barrier, but Troy Horse disassembles to fight Red Baron; with the advise of Dr. Kurenai, Ken was able dispatched the enemy Mecha with Elec-Trigger.

After the battle, Kenichiro informs of what has really befallen him and begs Ken to take care of Baron. Afterwards the Doctor is taken by the villains and is crucified to a tree where Ken finds him surrounded by the Robot foot soldiers and Big Bison.

Arsenal: Troy Horse sport a driller for a right hand for melee attacks and it body could disassembled its head, body with arms, as well the legs, becoming different units for more spread of combat; the legs combined into a v shape spinning projectile that fired smaller explosive projectiles. It could fire a Red/Green/Yellow tri color beam fired from the green lens on its face. It contained rocket boosters on its feet for take off. A Compartment was located on the head behind the red visors, which stored Dr. Kurenai when he was kidnapped. The Robot had a built in voice amplifier from which Dr. Deviler could speak through.


Appearance: Troy Horse had an entirely gray, humanoid body with a red left shoulder and a red-striped right shoulder. It has a circular head with dark red eyes, a big green forehead light, and two antennas on each side with a red light on the right antenna and a yellow light on the left. It has a red plate in the palm of it’s left hand and a small screw drill in place for the right hand.
