Currently going as 'Jon Doehl', Gadget has always been on the run. He isn't much of a "boy wonder" like his future friends Tails, Cyrus and Tekno, but he's well-taught on machinery and use of tech in combat, he also develops his own gadgets (hence his nickname) and even though he fails to be brave at the start, he eventually gathers courage to help his friends when they're in need. He doesn't talk much about his past more than just mentioning his birthday because "he still wants to eat cake for free at least once a year".
