With Dr. Stable being appointed the new head of Ponyville General, it was his job to pick up where his colleagues Nurse Redheart and Dr. Whooves left off. His job now was figuring out if this crisis was a curse, an illness, or some other third option he wasn't entirely aware of. On top of taking care of every obese pony patient in this facility.
Thankfully, Dr. Stable had help from the orderlies. Even now, as he's levitating a bedpan underneath an immobile blob, a blob pony adjacent to him was being put to sleep by a purple stallion. Dr. Stable admittedly did find Cat Nap a little creepy, from the fact that he rarely talked to the fact that when he did talk, he had the deepest voice he'd ever heard. But he was helping so many ponies relax from the stress of uncontrollably putting on weight.
Dr. Stable included. He wasn't as frantic about his obesity as he was about other ponies' obesity. Still, he weight gain was definitely noticed by him, his patients, and his peers. While he hadn't developed a waddle yet, his belly was definitely effecting his mobility as his foreleg fat slapped his rotund gut with every step. His butt wobbled to and fro as well, his cutie mark helping to emphasize all the cellulite that accumulated upon his flank that was nearly obscuring his ⁹hindlegs. Next to Cat Nap, Dr. Stable looked like a bean bag chair stuffed with pure blubber. He blushed as he walked next to Cat Nap, airing out a few grievances and just feeling utterly enormous, knowing his obesity was only gonna get worse.

The following log isn't about a patient, it's about the staff. While most of the orderlies aren't showing signs of rapid weight gain, the exceptions being Carrots and Gothic Rampart. The nurses and doctors are a completely different story. And Dr. Stable is the latest example. While his weight gain has been rather slow, it's still happening. He's continuing to monitor himself as well as some of the other nurses and doctors. In the meantime, Nurse Redheart called a meeting in Intensive Care, so all the staff have to squeeze their way into that room. In some like Dr. Stable's case, literally.
