Sabrina was invited to be a friend's +1 to a Halloween party, and without the time to whip up something new she slipped into a Zero Suit Samus cosplay she'd used previously. While she enjoyed showing off and being around people, she needed some time away from all the others, but found a quiet spot with only one person, a rather shy looking panther (in her eyes). Being an avid D&D player, she recognized the signs: panther with four forelegs (arms in this case), tentacles on the back... A displacer beast! As he complimented her costume, she complimented his, and... Well, she did learn that it wasn't a costume after all!
Just a cute story. I liked the idea of Madoc being an oddity, perhaps hiding his displacer beast nature, and given the holiday Sabrina just rolls with it. Always a good way to start off any relationship, right? At least it's a funny story they can tell to others.
