Miya wandered through the snow and the mountains, seemingly unphased by the harsh conditions of the north. She zapped herself up in size with her tail laser, just enough to enable herself to see over the thick clouds and snow. She had never ventured this far north before, so It was at a little surprising just how dark it was everywhere in the middle of the day, the sun having not risen in quite a few months now. Miya had heard there was another very capable size shifter up this way and wanted to pay her a surprise visit. Moving forward she stepped over minuscule mountains and tiny towns, making her way to the heart of Svalbard.

Lumi, was in her own house when she both heard and felt some increasingly large tremors. With concern she quickly grabbed her hat, scarf and coat and darted outside to see what was going on. Out on the horizon, loomed something large, something powerful. Anticipating danger, she immediately started to size herself up. Lumi’s size powers were all based on how cold she was at the time. Under normal circumstances, she could grow and shrink herself down as she wanted. The colder it was, the far easier she found growing and far harder shrinking was. Lumi grew bigger than the buildings, and bigger than the mountains within a few moments, preparing herself to deal with the possible threat.

Miya smirked; it looks like she’d found her new friend! Sitting down on the mountains, flattening them under her rear, she let Lumi grow for a short while before taking aim with her tail. With a “ker-click of her tail mechanism, she started firing her shrink beam, with a great big mischevious grin on her face. The beam started zapping Lumi directly and started shrinking her right the way back down into the town!

Lumi tried her best to grow against the shrink ray, but the warmth from Miya’s body and the energy from the beam itself made it harder to keep up the pace, and the shrinking sped up, causing her to size right the way back down to the ground.

Miya laughed seeing Lumi disappear back into town. She adjusted her pose some, looming over the entire town, before sizing herself down and waltzing on in at a slightly more appropriate size. She’d greet Lumi properly very shortly but this felt like a fun way to introduce herself!
